This page provides notices regarding material changes to Clarity services that may be relevant to customers. Routine maintenance, minor enhancements, bug fixes, and internal changes may not be listed here. Where appropriate, affected customers may also receive direct communications.
Opt-in analytics consent, and an updated Terms of Service
Website analytics and session replay now run only for visitors who have actively accepted them. Nothing analytics-related loads before that choice is made, and declining clears the analytics cookies set on our own domain rather than only halting further collection. Our Privacy Policy sets out precisely which cookies are involved, who sets them, and what we can and cannot remove on a visitor's behalf.
Our Terms of Service were updated in the same week. Earlier in the month we added per-IP rate limiting and full access logging at our CDN, improving how we absorb and investigate automated traffic against our public surface.
A public status page, and a published sub-processor list
status.gainclarity.ai went live. It runs on infrastructure entirely separate from the main site by design, so that it can continue to report accurately even when the service it reports on cannot.
The sub-processor list in Annex B of our DPA is now published in full, in one authoritative place, so it can be reviewed without a request to us.
A public Support page was published earlier in the month, setting out severity definitions, response targets and the escalation path. Our contact forms are excluded from session replay, so what you type into them is never recorded.
Hosting consolidated into Clarity-operated infrastructure
Our public site runs inside an AWS account Clarity operates and governs directly, on the same principle we apply to customer deployments: the environment belongs to the organization accountable for it.
Cookie consent was introduced at the same time, with analytics gated behind it. That gate was strengthened further in September, recorded above.
Privacy Policy, Terms of Service and DPA published
Our three core documents were published together: the Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement. All three are public and indexed, so they can be cited directly in a security or procurement review without anyone needing to ask us for a copy first.
Dedicated Platform, Security and Deployment pages were published alongside them, covering what the software does and how it is rolled out. Direct scheduling was added to the contact page earlier in the month, so a conversation can be booked without an email exchange.
The Clarity AI website went live
Our public site was published, covering what Clarity builds, how it is deployed and how to reach us. This record begins here.
Questions about a change
If something here affects you and is not clear, or you believe a change should have reached you directly and did not, write to hello@gainclarity.ai. Customers with an active agreement should keep contact details current for the people who need to receive service communications, since notices that require action are sent to those addresses rather than published here.
Live availability and incident history are on our status page, which is the right place to look for anything happening right now.
